Vesuvius Matheson lives a dual life as a legitimate businessman and the head of Maar Sul's oldest crime syndicate, the Matheson Crime Family. His money funded the Proninists in Jardine's troubles in 1016 AE, and he briefly controlled the city through his brother Galeras Matheson until the Grand Alliance liberated the city. Vesuvius also had his brother Koryaksky Matheson assassinated after the latter failed to end the Maar Sul Gang War in a way that would've profited the Family in a way Vesuvius had wanted.

Early Years[]
There have been Mathesons since Maar Sul first became a kingdom, controlling its underworld and its people for years from the city of Matheson. Vesuvius has been at war with the city of Jardine ever since he first stepped up as head of the family in place of his father.

Average height, looks a little overweight but his stomach is all muscle. Graying hair, mildly receding hairline, cut short. No facial hair. He dresses in fine, extravagant merchant's clothing, signifying his status and disguising his inner thug. Hateful, gray eyes.
