The Southern Horde is one of the four demon hordes in the Grand Duchy of Yamato. The leader of the horde used to be Duke Hepnaz L'invrad, Lord of the Duchy of Southern Yamato, until he was deposed by the current Duchess Nina Heeate L'andariel. The demons of the horde are known to use trickery and magic when they are hunting their prey. So far they have been observing the activities of the Black Hunters. The horde rules from its stronghold in Hyama in the Falgorn Province.

The Southern Horde is currently allied with the Eastern Horde and the Northern Horde and has plans for the Western Horde.

Armor and Emblems[]

The soldiers of the Southern Horde wear predominately yellow armor.

The overall flag of the Southern Horde consists of two black lines at 45 degree angle, parallel to each other, on a field of yellow.

Military organization[]

The exact nature of the armies of the Southern Horde is unclear for now, although it is known that they have at least 25 mage squads and ten platoons of infantry. They also employ demons for hire, most notably the dreaded Seven Sisters, after Duchess Nina rose to power.

Special abilities[]

Higher-level demons of the Southern Horde have been shown to manipulate weather to some extent. One of the middle-level demons, E'soon G'nipparw, created a fog to keep an eye on the Black Hunters without being seen.
