The Rebels of Libaterra have gone through several changes over the years, though their capital city has always remained Trinity Gask. The Rebels originally formed under Mae Torazo and Yoshimuriko to oppose Queen Shyla Locken and the Locken Loyalists many years ago. They felt the country should be ruled democratically, not by a monarchy. They eventually took over the city of Lutherin with help from a powerful necromancer named Drakon, though their reign did not last long; they were soon defeated by the invading Yamatians.
These days, the Rebels oppose Maar Sul and the Magicracy of Alent. The Rebels have recently formed an alliance with various other sinister factions in order to oppose the growing power of the Second Grand Alliance, thus creating the Crimson Coalition. They, as well as the overall Coalition, are now led by a charismatic knight known as Glaurung Losstarot.
