Buck Ryder was a gay cowboy who lived in Aison. He and his lover died during the liberation of Aison.

Buck was born to a small farming family north of Eest. Upon learning that he was gay, he was shunned by the townsfolk and forced to leave his family. With his trusty horse Ed by his side, Buck lived in the mountains with his companion, Jack Tenderheart, as they did freelance cowboy work for neighboring villages.
